Acid Stain Art 1
Most contractors who offer acid stain concrete are not artists. They think of a concrete slab as an unfinished surface that needs to be covered with carpet, tile or acid stain. At Lamberto Art & Design, we see a slab as an empty canvas and create concrete art that is in harmony with the structure and the space.
The beauty of working on a concrete slab is the creative possibility. Lamberto always approaches his concrete projects with the same passion he puts into his canvas paintings. As with any abstract painting, there is nor right or wrong. Each acid stain concrete art piece contains natural variations and finishes unique to that project, which will work with the final design.

Lambertos experimentation with the acid stain application brings out unusual patination effects. Here, the shape of a fish comes alive with gold finishes mixed with brown and sepia tones.

Green hues are not typical in concrete staining, but Lamberto believes that combining greens with natural concrete and other dark colors creates more interesting results.

Lamberto likes to web colors when applying the acid coloring. His admiration for Jackson Pollocks work has brought out the more spontaneous and drippy effect in his concrete slabs.
